I am the delighted owner of not only the hard cover editions of this stunning book but also the Kindle versions so that when travelling I can read Rosemary Parkinson's wonderful stories on Barbados. I have recommended it to many but when prospective buyers have looked online and want to get a taste of the books all they get is an image and garbled text. It is extremely off putting and am certain it will be affecting her sales. Please Amazon, do correct this fault in not being able to "look inside" before buying.At the same time I highly recommend people buy and download this series on Barbados. Hundreds of pages of stunning photography and stories of places and locals as only Rosemary can tell with recipes which would make anyone want to try them.

I downloaded this book to my Kindle Fire. It was an easy download though I noticed that the "look inside" feature was not working.. (Pity, because this is very important to some). The book is wonderfully written, full of interesting historical facts and brimming with the author's charming photographs. It is a veritable culinary and visual delight and I highly recommend it/ Buy it!

It's a wonderful treasure of a book; however Amazon needs to fix the "look inside" feature, which is not working properly. Amazon needs to give proper support to this magnificent volume!

Amazon should do a better job of displaying the inside of Rosemary Parkinson's books- sales would increase - this author does incredible work and people in the states would love it, and purchase it , if displayed properly.

It a great book, but because of the garbled look of the view I won't be buying it until it's fixed. I'm eagerly awaiting.
