not good for beginners and examples are awful!

Old format for 11g was much better. I uses to buy it for teaching now I'm thinking about it.

Worst book. don't waste your money

This book is the best Oracle book that I have purchased. It is a super easy read with clear, real world examples and great content. I recently used it to gen up on bulk processing as I couldn't find what I needed online. A recommended buy.

Examples are very clear and appliable to real situations and the step-by-step approach is inviting you to go for more, apart from many books with the same purpose. Name couldn't be better for this one. Great buy!
