This book was everything it was supposed to be and more! I'm on my boyfriends Amazon account, but I've talked with the artist and she's been very helpful on more than one occasion. Not only was I completely happy with this purchase but it also arrived 2 days early! This book is so gorgeous and it's has a lot more than just pages to color. The paper is thick and the book itself has a very nice texture. In the book are various, spread out pages with quotes and there's a few pages when they're colored prints. As soon as I opened the book, I was surprised with a very blue, astrological picture that took up two pages.I believe it's definitely worth the price.There's also many coloring tips within the book which I think I might try some.

BookFinally, a publisher has been listening to what colourists want in a books structure. This book is part of Blue Star Publishings ‘Master Collection’- a series of high quality colouring books for adults.‘Howl’ is immediately impressive, with a stark white cover, and a watercolour image of wolves on the soft card cover.At 27.9 x 21.7cm ( 10.9 x 8.5 inches) and 96 pages, it is a reasonably standard size for home or travel. The spine is both glue and string bound – it is very firm and takes quite a lot to get it to lay flat. None of the images enter the spine however!The paper is closer to card than paper. It is bright white, lightly textured and quite thick. Waterbased markers do not bleed, and I was able to achieve quite a lot of layers with pencils. Images are single sided, so no need to worry about the reverseImagesThere is a full silent flipthrough at the end of this reviewThe images in this book are wolves drawn and styled in a fantasy theme. There are wolves swirling in a circle, wolves standing proud, scenery of wolves surveying their surroundings, wolves that merge into another. The range of images is quite remarkable, and each turn of the page reveals a new image you wouldn’t have thought of!Beyond the fantastic artwork, this book also has some other wonderful features. Beginning at the start of the book with a ‘tips from the artist’ page, every few pages throughout contains a quote chosen by the artist and a double page full colour print of the artists work. This is great for colour inspiration, or simply to admire the wonderful completed artwork.Linework throughout remains moderate, which suits the theme quite well.The images are not very intricate, and remain so throughout, although the style is such that you can colour it section by section or as a whole.HealthFor those who are fans of animal and nature themed books, this would be a great choice for days when you are feeling down – the imagery is cheerful and quite open ended so you can stick to realistic colours or colour wolves purple and green if you want!The images would suit those with varying concentration levels – the style is adaptable so for days when you can’t concentrate, it’s easy enough to colour a section while you can concentrate, or the whole image on a better day.Intricacy is most likely suitable for those with fine motor skills impairments, but please do check the images before deciding. As soon as you get it, you realize why the price is so high - $20 for a coloring book? The paper is super thick, definitely could be used for water colors! Also, there are color prints of the artist's own wolf drawings that are very high quality. Each wolf is different, but they all have similar shapes and spaces for the most part so there aren't any odd, strange looking wolves. My sister is obsessed with them and this was an exciting Christmas gift for her and she is still coloring in it a month later.

High quality cover with a very smooth and glossy coat, which paid off for me after I spilled soda on it. I was able to quickly clean it off without any damage to the book or its pages. (Not recommended, of course.)Every image shows off the beauty of wolves. Different moods are conveyed in each; for example, one I chose to only use shades of blue because the two wolves looked rather sad and mysterious to me. Others I colored with bright, full-ranges of color. Definitely one of my favorite coloring books, and recommended for those who love wolves.

This coloring book was so much more than just a coloring book. Inside there was full color illustrations mixed in with the beautiful artwork that was drawn. The paper was thick and sturdy. I ordered it for my sister as a gift for Christmas and she loved it. Perfect for anyone who loves to color or loves wolves in general. Would by again.

There are so many amazing details in each of the linearts, even the easy section has something to make it unique on every page. When my book came in my best friend was so jealous as wolves are her favourite things to draw, so I ordered her one as well! Definitely worth everything to see the look on her face! Now we're competing to see who can come up with more imaginative colors for each page!

I just received my copy of "Howl" and I am blown away. This is a beautiful book!! I know this is one I am going to want to keep as keepsake when I am finished.
