This book is an excellent book, I loved reading it, but there were a few flaws. 1) They used the wrong name, his name is Stampylongnose. 2) Some wrong punctuation. 3) Some wrong grammar. Please fix the mistakes and I will change my rating to 5 stars.
My son loves stampy and he loves this book.There are some grammatical errors and not a lot of pictures which might be hard for adults and kid alike, but just having the book excites him so we try to overlook those parts when we read it.
My son is addicted to StampyLonghead. He was amazed that there is now a book to read. I can't get him to put the book down, which is great because he is reading. Win-win!
My 8 year old daughter loved the story. Even though the grammar was not the greatest she is really into minecraft and has read this several times

This book was enormously helpful and much appreciated on our trip. I originally bought it for ideas of where to go, and I did use it some for that. We were making up a bit of our route as we went, about 10 days from Yellowstone to Glacier and then West. And it turned out this book was an ideal level of inspiration and advice -- just enough for a quick read, but definitely enough for some context and great ideas of where to go and what to look for. The book doesn't take care of travel planning, you still need to take the lead, but the book does give great ideas and support for where you want to go in Montana. Oh and the wide open of the spaces in Montana are absolutely stunning.
Very informative book. I have never been to Montana. I'm going this September 2018. This book will help.

About the Author
Judy and Mel Malinowski love to snorkel. They have sought out great snorkeling and cultural experiences since the 70's, traveling to 60-some countries from Anguilla to Zanzibar in the process. Hawaii keeps drawing them back to their second home on the sunny South Kohala coast. Although they are certified Scuba divers, the lightness and freedom of snorkeling keeps it their favorite recreation. They also enjoy surface diving, sailing and windsurfing. Mel, Judy and their three children have hosted students and cultural exchange visitors from Bosnia, Brazil, China, Germany, New Zealand, Serbia and Turkey in their home, and helped hundreds of other families enrich their lives through cultural exchange. Working with exchange students and traveling as much as their businesses allow has encouraged their interest in the study of languages, from Chinese to Spanish. Graduates of Stanford University, they live and work in Palo Alto, California.

I've been to Hawaii 5 times, 3 times of which were to the Big Island. I got hooked on snorkeling and I found this book for my second trip there. It is so great to be able to have a table of the various snorkel sites for comparison then go to the description pages for more detail. My only disappointment comes from the fact that my copy is the first edition and this year, some of the directions are now out of date so we made a couple of wrong turns. This is not the fault of the guide but the fault of my poor memory for directions and not realizing there was a new edition.I really enjoy the conversational tone the authors use to relay their experiences when at the particular beaches. It gives the impression that these authors actually visited the beaches instead of relying on the tourist literature. They also provide practical advice for the particular beaches which is helpful since general advice and warnings about snorkeling (which they also provide as a portion of the book) will only get you so far when you're actually at a specific beach faced with the conditions particular to that beach.I feel this book has really given me access to areas that I may otherwise not have known about or gone to to enjoy the underwater beauty that the Big Island has to offer.
The book offers insights you probably wouldn't find on your own. From dangers to hidden must-see places, you will find a treasure trove of information to take advantage of while visiting Hawaii. The book is a directory of the coolest spots to swim, snorkel or just lounge on the beach. Our Hawaii vacation would not have been nearly as fun without having The Big Island to guide us. All of the directions in this book were spot on target. We never got lost and we found every place we were looking for based on the directions in the book.
We've used this guide over the past several years and have found it to be exceptionally comprehensive. The book includes general information about diving the big island and then proceeds to give detailed descriptions of the various beaches around the island. We've yet to discover a beach that is not documented in this book.The descriptions for of each beach include driving directions, parking information, and beach conditions. Whether you snorkel, dive, or just paly int he surf, this book will be helpful. As an experienced diver I enjoy the information about diving conditions, surge, clarity, and species that may be encountered at each site. Many of the beaches are known by several names. This guide includes local names as well as official state names.Whether you plan to snorkel, scuba dive from shore, or just explore some new beaches, this guide is indespensible. This book combined with "Big Island Revealed" and "Hawaii's Fishes : A Guide for Snorkelers, Divers, and Aquarists" by John Hoover and you'll be fully set for any ocean adventures.
This book was great for precise and concise information about where to snorkel on the Big Island. We used it daily to decide where we would go. It also gave information about where it was safe to take our 2 young and inexperienced snorkelers as well as where to park, the easiest place for entry, and which direction to head once you are in the water. I highly recommend this book.
I found this book to be incredibly useful and quite accurate.We needed the detailed directions and instructions to find certain sites and to be fully prepared.It also helped us find some fantastic snorkelling areas, despite high winds and choppy water.I especially enjoyed the pictures corresponding to each site, diagramming the location of reefs and indicating which are "excellent".I would highly recommend this book.
While a couple years old at this point, this book still pointed the way for me on a recent week of snorkeling on Hawaii. Excellent descriptions and maps of specific reefs and beaches. Good opening introduction to snorkeling for novices. If you are heading to the big island for snorkeling, spend time before your trip with this book and it will pay huge dividends.
Good info, but some of the information is outdated. As one example, one hotel is marked as the Kona Hilton, but it has not been a Hilton property since about 1994. The book contains some very basic how-to snorkeling information as well as descriptions of access areas.

If you like this sort of stuff, read this.I love the Underground and this was a "must read" for me.I appreciate not everyone like this sort of stuff - not a thriller but a well-constructed history with lovely anecdotes.

He leaves no stone unturned in his research of engineering and politics in the planning and development of what is today the first and one of the most complex underground rail systems in the world.

The greatest challenge in London's history.The British equivalent to the Transpacific railway in the States. Not as long granted but with an equivalent effect on the society of London and England as a whole.How they did it and what it took to get here stands for all time.Its worth the train fare for this one.

My hopes were set pretty high for this title. Overall, this was a good devotional for teen girls. I went through the first part with my 13 year old daughter and she really enjoyed it. It’s definitely written to a much younger audience than my 38 year old self and it does a good job at talking at their level.However, I feel that I need to get my biggest concern with this title out of the way before I go on:At the end of Day 1, Priceless has something very similar to the much recognized “sinner’s prayer.†I really think I would’ve enjoyed this book much more if this part wasn’t in there, since I personally don’t believe in the sinner’s prayer. It takes more than simply saying a prayer to be transformed in Christ and to live your life as His disciple. There’s a lot more I could say here, but it’s not appropriate in this review as it’s not about the book.I liked the layout of Priceless and how it addresses so much of what every teenage girl goes through and feels. It lets them know that those feelings are normal, but feelings aren’t necessarily true. And then it shows them the truth in God’s word and helps them to shift their thinking into more positivity.I loved that it had so many activities to do! My daughter and I wrote prayers together, and it really opened up a lot of discussions about how she feels and the best ways to deal with those feelings. I definitely recommend going through this book with your daughter! It was pretty eye opening.I received a copy of this book from NetGalley. This in no way influenced my review.

This is one of the sweetest, meaningful devotionals I have probably ever read. The daily devos are easy to read, engaging, and totally relateable. Each little chapter begins with a feeling and then adds a truth. For example, "When I feel beautiful. . . I'm reflecting God's glory"; "When I feel invisible. . . I'm seen & known"; "When I feel like giving up. . . I'm about to be rescued" (and so on). Through the trials and joys of her own life, author Jen Barrick pulls experience and humor into each devo, effectively getting down to the level of each girl and whatever fear they face. She stresses that when we have those days of not feeling enough, God's enough-ness more than covers us.Jen's story in itself is a work of love & miracles. She had prayed for God to grant her a boldness, but little did she know He would answer that prayer through the trials of a severe car accident & brain injury. What a testimony! and a challenge to live out loud the Hope we have in Christ.This devotional is a beautiful and simple way to teach girls & teens how to study Scripture AND put it to work in their own lives.

The previous reviews are too hard. The book provides a good introduction to network device drivers for those people who no nothing about the subject. While it does talk about NDIS 2 and NDIS 3, it provides good background information about the NDIS model and its development. While it does talk about older networking implementations on DOS, OS/2, and UNIX for example, it does demonstrate how the OSI model is implemented in these different environments. This is the books strength, not its weakness.One thing that I think is ridiculous is the price: [$$$] is too .... [$$$] is more like it. Buy a used copy if you want to understand the basic networking models of the aforementionedsystems.
